Crockpot Teriyaki Steak

Crockpot Teriyaki Steak

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless round steak
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

Directions:

1.  Cut the steak in 1/8 inch thick slices.

2. Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl.

3.  Place the meat in the crockpot and pour sauce over it all.

4.  Cover and cook on low for 6 – 8 hours.

5.  Serve with rice.

6.  Can also serve with green pepper, red pepper and onion, sliced and sauteed in olive oil.

Freezer Directions:

1.  Write recipe name and directions for how long to thaw and crockpot cooking directions.

2.  Cut the steak in 1/8 inch thick slices and place in freezer plastic bag.

3.  Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl.

4.  Pour over meat in bag – seal bag and shake to get sauce on meat.

5.  Make sure air is all out of bag and re-seal bag if needed.

6.  Lay flat in freezer.

7.  Thaw for 24 hours in refrigerator.

8.  Empty contents of bag into crockpot.

9.  Cover and cook for 6-8 hours.

10.  Serve with rice.

11.  Can also serve with green pepper, red pepper and onion, sliced and sauteed in olive oil.
